Backing up a few months…
Influenster sent me the Frosty Vox Box filled with products to try out and give feedback. Some were great, some were good, some were… meh. It was great to be chosen and it was fun to try new products. I certainly didn’t expect to get another box of goodies so soon. But here it is…
And here’s what was inside…
These are full size products! Have I tried them? Yup. Do I have opinions on them? You know I do!
Dessange California Blonde Illuminating Shampoo: The texture is smooth and easy to apply. My hair felt super, almost squeaky, clean. So much so that I wouldn’t ever use it without the conditioner.
Dessange California Blonde Illuminating Conditioner: The texture on this one was really good. Not pasty or super thick. For a conditioner I found it rather thin, but in the best possible way. I really liked how my hair felt and looked using these two products.
Dessange California Blonde CC Brass Color Correcting Créme: this stuff is a vivid purple… VIVID! It’s recommended to use gloves when applying it and I didn’t see that part until it was a bit too late. I went with it anyway. Applied it and waited 10 minutes before rinsing out. I didn’t notice a huge difference in the tone of my hair color, but that may be because my color wasn’t brassy in the first place. I’ll give it another go, but honestly don’t see myself purchasing this once I’ve gone through this tube.
All in all, I think the products are good quality and well worth buying. There is a “but” and here it is… but I don’t like the scent at all. It’s very perfumy and super strong. I’ve gotten a headache each time I’ve used them. My hair looks and feels really good, but my head feels like it’s going to explode from the scent. Such a shame. It may be just me because I do have a super sensitive nose. I hope so because they really are excellent products.
So, thanks Influenster and thanks Dessange Paris! I think the products I tested were really great (except for the fragrance.) #JAdoreDessange
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
