Time has once again flown by me faster than the speed of light. I started a French 102 class at the French Cultural Center in Boston… I’ve been feverishly searching for a job… I had the chickenpox… Halloween was a huge success and we ran out of treats after 90 little goblins!
Did you catch that? That “chickenpox” bit? Yah… I know. Seriously! Apparently I never had them as a child. Really wish I had. If you’ve not had the chickenpox, do yourself a favor and get the vaccine. I would not wish an adult case of the chickenpox on anyone. It’s bad. How bad? Check this out…
Cute, huh. I wanted a photo to remember what it was like. I wanted a photo to show that person who says “chickenpox aren’t that bad” or “you mean you had shingles, right? adults don’t get chickenpox.” Umm… Yah, they are… and yah, they do!
Well, I made it through and with hardly any scars! I did miss 2 weeks of my French class, but… it gave me plenty of time to job search.
Speaking of the job search… I had an interview today! Great company. Great area of the city. Really liked the HR person and the CEO I met with. My fingers are tightly crossed that they give me a shot. It’s a temp-to-perm position, but such a good fit for me.
So I think that pretty much catches me up. I won’t make it a promise, but I will try to pay more attention to this sad little blog. Thanksgiving is just a week away and I hope to take advantage of it… I’m charging my camera batteries!
